DESCRIPTION:
M-Governance, initiated by the Government of Kerala, is a comprehensive mobile governance project covering ninety odd government departments. The objective of the project is to integrate progressive mobile technology with various Government departments in order to create a cost effective, efficient and round the clock Government information system. The three channels of mobile communication, that is, voice, signaling and data, and a wide range of corresponding technologies are being used for this purpose.
