As in the past 5 years, the DEF is once again ready to present the 6th mBillionth Award in 2015. This highly influential and leading platform for exploring, recognising and honouring best practices in the mobile and telecom industry will be open to receiving nominations from 9th March, 2015. Nominations are invited from all eight South Asian countries ‐ Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The awards honour excellence in use of mobile communications for development and empowerment in the eight South Asian countries across 11 core categories:
